So I thought this was going to be fairly straight forward but now I’m somewhat more confused. I located the power wires no problem. Ground is brown and positive is red. But once I got into trying to locate the In/Out I get lost. I plugged in a stereo cable to the Input and confirmed a connection between the shield and red wire (pos). If anything I would have thought the shield would be connected to the negative. But really I thought it was going to be a wire on its own. Where i really scratch my head is the the tip. I can’t touch anywhere on the effects board that confirms a connection from the tip. I can locate points on the I/O board that have continuity (red arrows) but they don’t lead anywhere to the effects board. This is true for both the In and Out. I tried the same with another FAB Pedal just to make sure there wasn’t a connection issue or something. The cable is definitely in working order. I don’t understand what I’m missing here... Anyone have any further thoughts? I feel like I’m missing something super basic here because I’m new to this. But I really want to understand and figure it out.
