DATA(tableau) earnings Nov 1st

the BI wings of most large companies (MS, Oracle, IBM etc) are all growing hand over fist.

Please show me where MSFT, IBM, ORCL, or any other mega tech vendor breaks out their BI market share and growth during their earnings calls? Hint - They don't. How much of MSFT Azure's growth is tied to Power BI? Hint - You don't know and Gartner doesn't either.

I said debt was the only way they would stay competitive moving forward

Only way to stay competitive moving forward is debt? Expand on that one please. You can purchase a lot of startups with $800MM+ cash, grow new market segments, and develop or add competitive/complimentary products that fill gaps moving forward.

Their value plummeted last February so if someone was going to buy them they probably would have done it around then. Instead a lot of companies took a look and didn't like what they saw even though they would be buying at bargin prices.

There is a near 100% certainty that Tableau will be bought or go under in the next 3-5 years.

No one was interested in buying them in February but there is a 100% change they might be bought 3-5 years from now, or a 100% chance they go under 3-5 years from now? Huh? Really analytical approach here. You have a lot of inside Wall Street/Silicon valley sources there at Mizzou do you?

Most importantly look at the tone of your post; you attempted to be insulting and condescending in what was a civil discussion.

My 'tone' is harsh because this is about metrics and you are submitting biased and half informed comments adding no value here.
