Is dating over 30 cursed? Are the only single people single because they're fucked up people?

We’re at an age where we probably don’t confuse red flags with being edgy or quirky anymore. In reality, you’re lucky. You’re seeing people for who they really are instead of what you think they are or will become. On the flip side, it makes dating harder because you have to meet more people, but it’s more rewarding in the long run.

I highly recommend taking a step back and distancing yourself from dating, I’d make a list of what you want such as a relationship, marriage, or something causal. Next, I’d make a list of green flags(must have), yellow flags(use caution), and red flags(dealbreakers).

A lot of the time, it reveals are standards. As long as you don’t hold someone to a higher standard than yourself or your standards are way beneath you, it shows you have a healthy outlook.

Once you have a blueprint, start dating with it in the back of your mind. If someone has a red flag, move on without any remorse. It’s nothing personal. We’re too old to wait around for more red flags to pop up or think someone is going to change,

By the way, I live in Los Angeles. If you want to meet some people with untreated mental illness, trauma, or personality disorder try dating someone in or who wants to be in show business. It’s like trying to hug a porcupine.
