Dating someone inexperienced?

I'm in this situation right now and I really hope he won't end things because of my inexperience. I had to tell him because of some things I've heard him say (he doesn't know I heard or that's why I told him). He seemed genuinely confused about it, which I hope is a good thing (that he didn't suspect it, I mean). But we'll se what will happen. When I left his place this weekend I was sure he would try to slowly remove himself from the situation but he hasn't so far. The only thing he said about it was "don't worry about it" but of course I do worry.

It's a stupid catch-22. Guys don't want you because you're inexperienced but you can't get any experience because you're inexperienced. It's so frustrating.

I'm not a freak, I just happened to be painfully shy for many, many years. It is what it is, but it sucks to be in this situation where your worth is based on previous experience. It's like they think that there's a reason nobody has wanted you for such a long time so obviously there's something wrong with you.
