Datto New Video - Destiny 2: Datto Rants About PvP and Well of Radiance for 13 Minutes

Wouldn't mind removing orbs from PVP and slow super regen by like 20-25% in PVP. Super mods can still be a thing, but if they're slow enough to the point where you'll likely only get 2 supers a match anyway unless you're absolutely slaying and/or using something like Thundercrash that can generate super energy and etc, maybe people would be more invested to use other mods. Obviously PVP super cooldown speed can be adjusted separate from PVE ala Mayhem, so wouldn't mind that idea at least being tested out. Excited to see if armor 2.0 has any more competitive options for mods though and maybe that will help as well as making super mods less dominant in the Crucible.

Pinnacle weapons are pretty iffy as while nerfing them so they aren't as wild may be healthier for the game, but removes any sort of fun of them existing in the first place. I got aaall of my PVP pinnacles this season and while Mountaintop and Recluse are pretty busted, Ive got 9 kills on my Luna in PVP since it seems like a husk of its former self from what I can gather. Maybe Recluse needs to require precision kill to bring it in line or something, but Mountaintop is kind of a beast of its own. You either neuter it by making it Fighting Lion damage, or...? Its not like you can remove its straight fire, and removing spikes and stickies still leaves it deadly in PVP. This one is a rough spot, idk. I don't want these long sought after weapons to be trash but I don't want them to be the only options either.

Lastly I think its obvious that roaming supers should be glass cannons if they're going to retain their speed. Datto's right in that they're insane to aim at unless you have a football field of space between you and them. The highest potential super should not have the highest survivability. I think one-shots should be tanks yet short lived, and roamings should have regular Guardian health (like Golden Gun), if not slightly higher? Its either remove some mobility or remove some survivability, you can't have both and expect it to be very balanced.
