You know those really stupid things you've said from years ago that keep you up at night? I've got one that involves Hanson.

I'm a recording engineer. I was at recording studio and Hanson came by while I was working with another band call And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. Hanson were the nicest, most wholesome people in the world. It was like meeting real life Disney characters. Anyway, they were streaming some video for their website and one of the guys in the band I was working with joked, "Wouldn't it be hilarious if we just ran out and started kicking them?" and then I retorted with a lame joke, "Then you'd have to change your band name to And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead Hanson Brothers." As I was finishing my sentence, Taylor popped his head in the door and invited us to go do something with them, but he I'm fairly certain he heard me. I felt like the biggest dickhead, and the joke wasn't even good. Not worth it.
