Dave Chappelle explains LeBron’s position perfectly

But is one's since of dignity and righteousness not enough to inform someone's decision or are you saying financial incentives should predominate any decisions in that regard? I think that if you feel something is wrong, no sort of financial disincentive should keep you from making the right decision when free of duress.

Your comment also assumes, that by walking out on Louis CK, these woman forfeited money in some way. I'm not sure I see the connection beyond speculation. All of these allegations against Louis CK were those of incidents that happened in the early 2000's. By no means was CK as Harvey Weinstein in this period, meaning, he didn't have enough power to absolutely dictate the course of a comics career. He was still by and large cutting his teeth at this period.

Your comment also assumes that walking away from 50 million is not difficult regardless of how much money one has. I think it is safe to say, had Chappelle accepted that contract, he would have more than doubled his wealth.

Listen, I don't want to sound like I'm condoning CK's actions but man, sometimes if some shady shit is happening, you have to do the right thing and walk away without fear of repercussions - just do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
