Dave Chappelle mocks protesters who made him relocate Minneapolis show

You are actually proving my point. Yes, the people without arms are still human! But why? What is a human? Can you define it? Their genetic makeup! And that's my entire point. You cannot clearly define what a woman is; I can clearly define what a human is. You want the word "woman" to mean whatever any one wants; I want it to remain as traditionally understood, referring to genes, chromosomes, and biology.

And "words are inherently meaningless strings of letters", yes, but we all agree on their definition for the most part. And we change their meaning if and when we have some need to change them. "Marriage" is a good example that has changed for the better. But the transmovement doesn't provide a good reason for why I should change my definition of the word "woman" or "man". In fact, by changing the word's meaning, we start to see stuff like that Lia Thomas example! And thus, to many people, changing those words' meaning not only lacks a tangible reason to do so, but it leads to negative consequences. And the argument for changing the meaning is simply, "because we feel a certain way."

You are asking the majority of people to redefine a work so less than 1% of people can feel included. And when we don't magically accept the redefinition, we are just called hateful. But if you read my other (better) comment linked above, you will see that I try to call out that same "invalidation of experience" as a reason why biological men/women don't necessarily want to redefine the word as well.
