[David Maddock] Serious issue for Liverpool now - shoulder injury in keepers tend to be serious, so if Alisson out for weeks, never mind months, they will need replacement in window tomorrow. Brutal...but painfully obvious defence has no belief in Adrian, and that is at heart of this abysmal display

Post the painful 7-2 defeat, I feel a lot of negative emotions.

Tactically: I don't like this high-line defence we've adopted recently and I even agree with Roy Keane's comments about us being sloppy; as that game really could've been done and dusted if Lacazette finished better. Moreover, Adrian possibly being our main keeper worries me a lot with this sort of tactic.

Defensively: I'm happy we got a loss like this. I've felt for time that Robbo and Trent are really poor defensively compared to how good they are going forward. Gomez's performance was really bad and with Matip as our only alternative - we really need to wake up and see how we barely have any "depth" defensively.

Mid: Our mid is what it is. It's basically a great assortment of decent players who usually give their all to win the ball and patch up defensive liabilities. Hendo is a club legend and we need him back, there's just something about that man.

Attack: Salah and Mane do what they do; upon occasion, I may get annoyed with Salah's decision-making but I do appreciate his talent this season compared to previous years. Really happy with Jota. Minamino I feel just needs more reps in.

Now for Firmino. I'm so conflicted. Aside from how "hE fItS tHe SyStEm", most of his performances for so long now can be summed up as: flicks, poor passing/losing the ball, losing 50-50s and then a glimpse of brilliance. But I wonder who could replace him - maybe Haaland?
