After her death at the hands of an illegal immigrant from Mexico, and the media circus about the American republicans being all “oh we need to crack down on illegal immigration”, her dad said that the Hispanics in his community were “Iowans with better food”. Of course I understand that he’s not deflecting her death, but to me that’s such a bizarre thing to say in the wake of your own daughter’s murder.

If I were killed by an illegal immigrant from, say, Turkey or somewhere, and my dad went on the news saying “yeah but mate, think of the kebabs you’d be missing out on”, I’d haunt the bastard for the rest of his life!
