Way to go on the day 3 and good job reaching out for help! You can get through this, many of us have so you can too. It'll get better and easier if you don't spend the money on vodka. I had so many problems when I started that I couldn't even begin to imagine getting out from under them but they did go away eventually as I did what others recommended and kept in touch with other AAs and hit every meeting I possibly could, got a sponsor and worked the steps and got into service and helping newcomers. Best thing I ever did by far. I don't know if you're going to meetings and getting involved but I know that I couldn't have gotten sober and stayed sober without being in the middle of real life AA.
