Daybreak: We need some assurance about the future of EQN. Even just a simple statement to confirm it's still in development and still a priority.

The folks that were let go aside from community staff involved with EQN/Landmark were individuals of a Director/Producer status that had a loud voice to speak to our aspirations of this new MMORPG. The faces we saw were enthusiastic and determined on providing a relationship not seen in MMORPG's with the public helping to guide the project of EQN. Dave Georgeson made it quite clear that the bond between the one's steering the project with the community would be different from most games. It was a particularly bold idea.

Since Landmark's inception, it was founded as a tool to help steer the project of EQN with the community. It was "the" playground with a vision set on providing as much feedback on the development of EQN. I'm not saying we may not have this sort of bond anymore but rather the enthusiasm being once had dwindling into speculation. The faces we have left will have to step up and instill confidence back in the community. Terry Michaels is very good and I feel as though others will have to step up and take more of a leadership role.

We should instill confidence with the folks still working hard while providing support as well as critique to reach that goal Dave had in mind with EQN. Dave, Jeff, Steve, and Eric are gone now and it's our duty to help drive the direction of this game. As some may think that some of these individuals were let go wasn't that big of a deal, it really is considering how outspoken they were to the problems of the MMORPG market. They wanted to re-imagine and re-evaluate all the problems with the market.

It's easy to be pessimistic but it wouldn't hurt to be even more vocal and give confidence in those that remain steering the project. Interaction with the community is key as well as discussion about future plans. I know many are fearful of the thought of being let go but the project must not be interrupted. You help us, we help you. It's a great relationship that must never be hindered. Let's keep the vision going but expound on it.
