Days Gone Dev Blames 'Woke Reviewers' on Game's Low Critic Scores

I've never seen a pair of devs have such a chip on their shoulder about something being received as just "okay". The game wasn't bad it just wasn't up to the standard of Sony's other first party line up.

- They blasted people who bought the game on sale, saying you need to buy a game at full price.

- They then earlier this year tried to shit on Ghost of Tsushima's success by claiming it sold the same amount of copies. It turned out those sales numbers were taken from a trophy data site (so it would've included people who played the game through PS Plus/Now).

- Yesterday this same guy claimed that the game was only being marked down for it's performance at launch as the PC version reviewed well...as if Days Gone is some special case and that isn't standard practice? Just in the last month you can look at Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and Callisto Protocol which have received middling review scores for their technical performance.

- Now they've gone completely lost their brains and are using the blaming "woke" strawman thinking that reviewers weren't a fan of Deacon's "straight whiteness" as if we don't have the likes of Arthur Morgan, Kratos, Nathan Drake, Geralt etc. being some of the best protagonists in recent gaming.

Honestly if they hadn't been so vocal about it the game could've made a name for itself as a misunderstood gem.
