I asked support about this a while back because we had been getting a lot of questions about it. They responded on October 31 and said they were looking into it. I suspect that's bullshit and that they just want people to buy the series on DVD or Blu-ray, but I am a cynical person sometimes.

Also "they" might actually be Toei in this hypothetical. There have been times when Funi reps have said that they removed something from their streaming service because Toei asked them to (like when they took the movies down to sell digital purchases on iTunes). They haven't said that in this case; as far as I can see they are treating it as a technical issue. It's just hard to see how it could be a technical issue, but what do I know?
