Dealing with carnivores

Short answer: No Long answer: I don’t see how killing animals, carnivore or not, contributes to being vegan. Why bother not eating meat if you’ll just kill a different animal anyways? Just because a lion needs meat to survive doesn’t mean it should be a death sentence. Carnivores are an important part in any ecosystem; to crudely summarize it, they work as a form of population control on prey animals that would otherwise overrun their environment, and end up starving due to an unsustainable population size. And I don’t see how it would be feasible to train omnivores to be vegan - we as humans can make the conscious choice, but trying to change a wild animals diet? I don’t see that working out.
