Thank you very much for your comment! Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were also a Sunnī but that you were implying that we shouldn’t pray the duʿāʾ quoted for our parents!

The post was simply addressed to former Aḥmadīs-now Orthodox Muslims in dealing with their Aḥmadī parents. However it seems that the majority in this forum are atheists to the exclusion of those who’ve opted for another belief system.

Don’t mind them at all! I try to keep away from Reddit theology stuff anyway - is a good reminder as to why I stay away haha!
