I have so many family members who are into the biking scene and it gives me anxiety. I hate being on the freeway and seeing motorcyclists pass by like they’re threading a needle. It’s scary, especially if there are big trucks around too. I’m an adrenaline junkie myself so I get the appeal, but I see accidents so often... it’s not worth it. Surely there are other things you can do for the rush. I even once witnessed a motorcyclist crash into an eighteen wheeler and slip completely off his bike, flying like 15 feet away from the site of the crash. This happened right in front of me and the sound still haunts me to this day. The truck driver wasn’t injured but the motorcyclist was paralyzed, I think from the waist down but I’m not sure. It’s a miracle he survived, the distance his body travelled.
