My favourite moment will always be when he went shoulder to shoulder with godin during Atletico (away) knocking godin off the ball and showing that strong mentality required to be a top drawer striker. Since that game tho, not once has that form been repeated.

The goals will only come after he starts to do the little things. It’s like in uni, you only start to do well and score high on exams after you show up for class and do your revision.

It will be impossible for him to find clarity and composure in front of goal if he feels like any pressure will knock him over. It will be impossible for him to get a good touch in the box if he can’t get good touches and link up at the halfway line.

I know he’s trying, and the goals are clearly affecting his mentality, but he needs to stop caring about the goals and work on improving his approach. Once he gets comfortable on the pitch the goals will flow, just wait. Come on Alvaro
