Girlfriend came over to watch a movie, ended up watching Bladerunner (old one, not the new one). Parents were gone for the week. First real girlfriend I had since High School, this was early College, she grabbed my hand and leaned her head against my shoulder. Done this many times before but for whatever reason, dark room + Bladerunner + no parents + Vangelis sensual synth soundtrack maybe? I could not get that boner to go away for a solid hour. This was pretty early on, and we weren’t particularly serious yet. When she glanced down and figured it out, it was certainly awkward for me, but she obviously didn’t mind because when the credits rolled she jokingly acknowledged it’s presence. In retrospect I’m not sure why I was so embarrassed by it, I guess I just thought I had passed the stage where simply holding hands and watching a movie would give me a hard-on.
