Dear IRS...

I just told you several times over that there is heavy governmental interference. I said it precisely so you wouldn't come in and try to chalk this up as some sort of free market victory.

I already addressed this point: "Nobody ever said Singapore doesn't have any government intervention, so stating this is a strawman. The argument is that Singapore is closer than most countries to this ideal of economic freedom and low taxes."

As for Hong Kong, here's a snippet from their wikipedia page: "The service economy, characterised by low taxation and free trade, has been regarded as one of the world's most laissez-faire economic policies, and the currency, the Hong Kong dollar, is the 13th most traded currency in the world."

Based on what evidence?

Here's a graph that shows how the price of healthcare has changed in the U.S. Keep in mind that Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965.

Yeah, they ban bad history there. They want actual history, not mises.org revisionism.

The institutions they learned from teach a heavily revised version of history. However, apparently their extreme revisionism is better than the mild, almost trivial revisionism from other sources - likely because it supports their world view.

Libertarians pay lip service to social issues while throwing minorities under the bus.

No, they don't. They simply believe private organizations should be allowed to turn away customers.

They—like you, it seems—think that the economy is the only real thing that matters, and they have no problems shitting on women's rights and gay rights

No, libertarians advocate limited government and individualism. In fact, the government has done a better job discriminating against, oppressing, and harming innocent people than any private organization ever could. Two-hundred-and-sixty-two-million people were killed by their governments in the 20th century alone, not including deaths from war. Today governments in North Korea, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, and even the U.S., continue to infringe on the liberties of their own citizens.
