Example: You can use 100 fuel tokens to get 3 days of premium time. Normally buying 3 days will cost you 3.32 Euros in the premium shop. If I wanted to do the same thing using fuel tokens it would cost me 100/15 *5 (because 1 box costs 1250 doubloons = 5 Euros) = 33 Euros. That's a whopping factor of 10X
Are you really that ignorant? Buying premium time with tokens is not designed for paying customers, it's for free players who did not get enough token for the benham so they get something at least!
The whole event is designed so that:
Buying the ship directly by buying crates for 800 tokens cost too much, so most will try to grind
It's hard to get all tokens to buy the Benham without everyday participation
Hence, many players will buy extra few crates for the tokens=profit for WG
Participation rate in game will be high, since pure f2p players will try to get it for free, and semi f2p players will also try to grind as much as they can. Due to the game design most will still spend some money to get the premium-they will feel like at least they got a good discount.
Is that so hard to understand?
You can't defend every shitty deal that they make with the 'it's a free game' argument. It's weak and it shows you lack sufficient critical thinking.
