The death of the American mall. This was Friday night. In the 90s this would've been packed

Seeing the mall near me is wild. I remember going as a kid with all my freinds. It was like any other mall with a few more attractions. Used to have a small river in the food court. Now. That river is empty. Almost every store is closed. A few things remain. A gamestop. A mom n pop store. A couple random companies use some space as an office, but always empty. The chick fil a in the food court is said to be closing. As well as the theater. I figure one of those will be the last straw. Theres a couple more obscure stores. But I'm sure they wont last long either. It used to create amazing fun memories for me. And now it creates memories because when I go there its like walking around in an abandoned mall.
