Death of the tablet?

Yeah hardware wise it is very good, though I was jsut disappointed with the software support for over two years and waited for the source until they released recently, only to find that apparently it was missing blobs the source wasn't complete at all and development had stalled there the last time i checked. I might wait out on it for a bit until they fix the camera though.

So far I found MIUI decent, it could be worse though. It was really just the software support (still no security center...) and the community over at the MIUI forums that really put me off. Apparently Xiaomi only had 2 part time developers for the mipad over the two years since it's release. It really put me off ever getting a xiaomi device again and supporting a company that has very poor practices in supporting the develoepr community. There is no excuse to support their devices this poorly. I'd say avoid the Mipad lines entirely (and any offshot Mi lines such as the Mi 4i too as they have traditionally been horrible with there support.
