I hate subs that devolve into nothing but quotes in the comments. I've never been subbed to prequelmemes or raimimemes or anything but r/sopranos fucking sucks. Someone makes a post trying to discuss something about the show, and then every comment is just quotes. It's not a meme subreddit either, it's the main sub for the show. It's weird, since other subs for good TV like r/thewire r/madmen r/twinpeaks and even, surprisingly, r/breakingbad don't devolve into constant shitposting like r/sopranos does. The sub is noticeably worse than those others and I just don't get it because you'd think these guys would have some level of maturity if they enjoy The Sopranos, but alas.
