Debbie Harry and David Bowie, 1977.

Yeah, and I'm 35 and when i was 14 it was illegal for adults to buy alcohol and cigarettes for kids, but they did it ALL THE FUCKING TIME. I know.. that's how i smoked and drank back then.

It's 2016 and it's considered a crime for most people in most states to smoke pot...but guess what?

What the law says and what culture says are typically two different things. Sometimes the law is ahead of the curve. Sometimes culture is.

You can go quote CA legal statutes all day long. But even in the 90s, i knew plenty of 13-14 year old girls dating 20-22 year old dudes. I knew 15-16 year old girls dating 25+ year old dudes. (Granted..the guys typically were immature losers who couldn't get people their age).

But i can't imagine that arrangement happening today. It was illegal then but it happened all the time. SO if that was going on in the 90s.. in the deep fucking south.

SHould it shock anyone that worse was going on in CA rock n roll clubs in the 70s?

The fact you're 60 and I have to explain this to you, is sad.

Grow up.
