I want you to think about that for a moment. They live in a world where people will steal their dog under the guise of legal rights and sell them for whatever they can get to cover a debt. We don’t know the condition of that persons debt but we do know that predatory lending is a very real problem in the US.

The man even considered raking the paraplegic mans wheelchair to cover the debt.

And you want them to give up their only means of effective self defense to pay such a monster off? Fuck that! We need to reform the consumer protections around lending to protect the poor and the disabled, but telling those same people to sell their only defense is just cruel and only makes their situation that much worse.
