Come December..we must take back what's ours

I just saw endgame....and it was pretty fantastic. Walking out, I was hit with the crushing realization of just how badly Star Wars has been handled. This is what we should have been built up to, answers and emotion and real danger for characters we like. Instead....it’s just...a shell. I don’t think Disney realizes yet how much damage they have allowed to be done to the universe. I hope, somehow, it recovers with the next one, massive retcon or whatever it takes. They gave in to pure insanity trusting the entire mythology to a single person. Marvel never made that mistake, it had its core people who protected the universe and mythos from the hubris of one director going alone and making their pet project movie part of the main canon. I hope I am wrong, but TLJ just left me sad, it didn’t make be excited and wanting to know what happens next.
