decent gaming pc $700-850

No need to go far over $800.

If the extra $5 is worth it to you, you can switch to Windows 8.1. However, it seemed that by the way you phrased it, Windows 10 was what you wanted.

SuperBiiz, as usual, isn't giving PCPP their shipping price; the CPU is $179.98 after $4.99 shipping. That brings the total price to $816.67 rather than $811.68.

There's another option that's about $5 cheaper.

We'd go with the ECS B85-M9 mobo that's $20 cheaper than ours, but due to the fact that its only PCIe x16 slot is on the bottom, a typical 2-slot graphics card would actually hang off of the bottom. Like this. This means that it wouldn't fit in a typical mATX case; it wouldn't have one of it's slots and it'd probably wouldn't clear the top of the power supply. We'd thus have to opt for an ATX mid tower. The cheapest one I could find that wasn't shit was $10 more expensive than ours, and only had one fan, so required another one of our $5 fans.

In my opinion, that seems a bit janky for only $5 of savings, but I'm up for whatever tickles your fancy.
