So I decided to cancel my RTX 2080 Ti preorder...

Yeah. And what started it? People willing to pay $1000 for the OG Titan. Gave Nvidia the green lightI am from the generation where $500 was enough to get you the best cards. Now it only gets you entry level cards

It doesnt matter whether or not you can send or cancel your order. As long as people preorder Nvidia can see people are willing to plonk $1.2 grand on a card and might raise prices. Look at 2080Ti. Lol.

Raytrace is a gimmick. Nothing groundbreaking except for more "realistic shadows" with a premium tagged over it. I dont care about it. But i care about the increased prices.

$500 was enough to get you a full die back in the day. Today its not even half worth of a cut 2080Ti.

Seems you havent learnt from the dark days of the cpu dominance where Intel charged $1000 for 8 cores. Today we have cheap and powerful 8 cores for the mainstream.
