My husband's old friend from high school who lived in NYC was dating a girl who into acting and she convinced my husband's friend to do a small part on a reality tv show to help out her friend who was a producer for the show. It was something called, "Amazing Wedding Cakes" and it was on WEtv. The friend and his gf were to be stand-ins for the bride and groom who didn't want to be on TV, so they had them come on in to the bakery and pretend to taste cakes and talk about the design of the cake then they showed them again in a full wedding gown and tux and a fake wedding entrance. OMG! We watched the episode only because he was going to be on there and he literally had a "deer in headlights" expression the entire time. We couldn't stop laughing... the gf was okay because she had experience, but he had none and he was so awkward even though in real life he's actually quite entertaining and very charming. We DVR'd and probably watched the parts he was on a handful of times because we thought it was hilarious!

I think sometimes these people get roped into these tv shows and then they freak out when it's all going down.
