Deck building is my least favourite part of this game. Are there good “default” decks?

Deckbuilding in this game is extremely streamlined even if you’re missing many cards. You might not have the best decks but you’ll have good enough decks to get you through standard pretty easily and even expert outside of some of the scenarios. Don’t net deck if you don’t have a full collection especially when starting out.

Every deck takes 15 hero cards and 5 double resource cards (3 basic/2 for your aspect). That’s half your deck done without any decisions. Then just pick 5-8 allies/support cards from the cards you have. These should help you build an engine and usually you end up taking Helicarrier + Avengers Mansion + 1 other support card and then 5 allies. The you take 12-15 event/upgrade cards from your aspect or basics, most of which you take 3 of copy’s for. Ideally you want half of these cards to cover your heroes weakness and the other half to feed in to your strengths and synergize with your hero cards. For these cards I like to make most of them low cost 0/1/2 cards so I can play them for filler or use them as resources for the bigger engine cards or allies.
