Again, defective wheel cylinders?

STOP... this could be the hand pump vacuum bleeder reservoir lip seal issue..

i got a harborfreight brass vacuum brake bleeder kit. the zip lock bag with the accessories was trapped in the lip seal of the reservoir cup.. preventing me from building any vacuum.

one man bleeding can be done.. without a vacuum pump.

with the wheel cylinder bleeder only partially open..

use your hand against the brake pedal to BUMP it rapidly.. but only a 1/2" stroke.. this builds pressure in the master but does not create suction when you release.. so the fluid only moves in one direction.. this is not the best way of bleeding.. and different cars require different amounts of BUMP..

some parts stores sell SPEED BLEEDERS .. these are various sizes of brake bleeder screws that have spring loaded check valves built in.. you have to match them to the actual bleeder screw do to variations in brake bleeder screw sizes in replacement wheel cylinders.. lately.. i have found various sizes with no reason other than that is the size they had available in the factory that day..
