Defending early cyclones without a Warp Prism

We should also do the cost vs cost analysis. A widow mine cost 75-25 is produce out of a factory 150-100 with 2 supply. An oracle is 150-150 and produced from a stargate which is 150-150 along with 3 supply. The widow mine has the opportunity to 1 shot an oracle, if the first oracle does no damage protoss is very far behind. If a terran widow mine does no damage, terran has plenty of ways to make it up quite easily. Something to think about as well is widow mines come from a tech path that the terran has to follow no matter what.

We should also take a look at the time efficiency. You can place a single widow mine anywhere on the map, as long as its hidden under a cliff, and 90% of the time it will get an efficient engagement. Do not forget that this simple trade took only a 75-25 engagement, since you don't have to go out of your way for the tech. Unless you have ever controlled an oracle before, you wouldn't know how time consuming and random their movement can be with acceleration/its radius of movement. The oracle will often times go far out of its way just to make a turn when it has slowed down. If you are dying to an oracle early game, its because you are probably 1. lost a few free units 2 didn't scout properly. 3. didn't react properly upon scouting. (This is only the case when its a proxy stargate/1 base) If you are dying to two base oracle, then you just really need to improve your play.

Of course this all goes back to the original argument stating there is annoying things from every race, but there are still methods to deal with them. No reason to be abrasive when everyone feels struggles. In the case of the cyclone, the cyclone really limits playability for protoss. It makes engagements almost a 100% commitment, there is no retreat. This is something that I feel really needs to be changed otherwise it becomes a nuisance for everyone.
