Democrats chose not to enforce the immigration laws voted on and supported by their own citizens. Thus defying the will of the people they govern in favor of defending people who by the definition of our own laws are criminals. And they are considered to be absolute heroes to some people for doing so.

Republican (some sherriffs who can't be bothered to take away people's guns for no good reason and probably for their own personal safety) chose not to enforce unconstitutional laws which infringe on peoples rights as law abiding citizens who have not done and probably will not do any wrong in relation to the firearms that they own.

Yeah I gotta call this one a win for the red team. Beating the blue team at their own game.
