This is definitely the definition of race pride

European history was, up until very recently, the history of white people, insofar as what we consider white today were the predominate skin tones in Western Europe.

Yeah, that's the revisionist history I'm talking about. You can't go backwards through time and call the Roman Empire, the Holy Roman Empire, the British Empire, etc White Empire 1,2,3,4 etc. None of those people thought of themselves as white. Even today if you went to London or Rome and said "Whatever, you're all white it's all the same" they'd be pissed at you and look at you like a fucking lunatic

The term "Christendom" might be a more accurate label. My original comment, however, said we should be allowed to be proud of EUROPEAN HISTORY, not "white history" without it sounding like a KKK thing.

Why? Why should my heart fill with pride about the Roman Aqueducts? That has nothing to do with my heritage. It has arguably more to do with the Turks than with anyone connected to me. All of my ancestors were running around in wool skirts hoping cotton underwear would be invented soon so they could wear pants. This makes about as much sense as black people talking about how they invented math because pyramids

And WTF? July 4th is a celebration of WASPs? That's EVERYONE'S day. Just because the cultural make-up of the US at the time meant that Washington's army was comprised of white people does not mean that's a "white" holiday. What the fuck?

I don't know how YOU learned about July 4th, but where I'm from it's all about a bunch of British colonials having a revolution. Yes it's inclusive, but we're celebrating a thing where, as I said, a bunch of English blooded white guys are the heroes and everyone goes YAY the English colonials! Just like black guys go to Oktoberfest and St Patty's day. Everything is everyone's day. If you don't take part in any "day" that isn't specifically about your "white heritage" you're the one missing out
