Everyone.

The YouTube community is all about thumbnails, clickbait and the people at the top aren't wanting to let that go. I really prefered it back in the day when it was about watching content. Just the general comments and attitudes on any form of media streaming platform is so bad. I never remember it being like this back in the day. The most you had to content with was someone speaking in broken english. A large part I feel is due to kids being introduced to these people at a far to early stage in their lives. I have a younger brother. He directly quotes a number of youtubers. Just stupid shit that is apparently cool these days. Wtf is that Dab shit all about?

I see YouTube as a place for people that failed to get an actual job.

Sorry, but it's a pretty shitty opinion of mine that it's the place where the popular kids of high school went after they realised they fucked their education up.

And it is a pretty serious topic. What would youtubers do without Youtube?

Most people I've seen that have quit their real jobs for youtube are indeed doing shit stuff like shelf stacking. Replaceable work.

Of course it isn't everyone. But I feel like a significant part of the community that use the "I really always wanted to do this with my life" are lying to everyone and only want to do it because of the big bucks they see.

But hey. Maybe I've ranted for a bit too long in this thread. I've seen Youtubers be their normal selves then change into something else for the viewers. Everyone shouts and screams and over reacts all for the kids.

It's why I miss the old times. People recorded just to record themselves playing games. It wasn't about money, views or attention. Maybe a little bit of attention but no where near the scale it is now.
