While people are calling for the others to delete their Facebook accounts, I can't even access mine. They keep asking me for an ID or other forms of official documentation. Someone shouldn't have to give their government ID or BIRTH CERTIFICATE in order to access their social media account. They have my email where they can send verifications to if they believe my account is insecure. It was one of the only sites where I didn't hide in anonymity to watch cat videos in the shadows. They know my name, where I live, where I went to school, and who my family is. And while I wish I could access my account again to copy the messages sent to me by loved ones who have passed, I will not be giving Facebook information they shouldn't even be asking for. I hope they find a way to fix this.
