OP are you East Indian? I am white and have had a few shitty interactions with Surrey RCMP but never too bad, but most of my buddies are EI and have had many shitty interactions with the Surrey RCMP. I'm talking regular guys, tradesmen, blue collar guys never broken a criminal law in their life type of guys. They get pulled over, breathalyzed when they haven't been drinking, harassed about their vehicles just really shitty behavior from the cops.

As a white person who hasn't really experienced this it's easy to see why other white people may not see it being a problem. Unfortunately I do believe the RCMP is definitely racist, or at least contains racist officers who harass POC.
