This deserves more upvotes. I’m in a lease right now that I can’t get out of, the building has a bunch of people that do not mask up when they get on the elevator. I walk outside and notice 40% of the people are not wearing a mask. If anything COVID has literally made me:
Hate my friends. (They refuse to mask up to the point where I don’t want to be friends with them anymore).
Hate my neighborhood. (The mask compliance is so low, and because of a couple of bars has literally caused the entire city to go into curfew back in May. I’ve gone to walk in Brooklyn and seems like that neighborhood is more compliant with masks and social distancing).
Hate my building and neighbors. (They don’t mask up, and refuse to wear it in an elevator.)
I don’t have a compromised immune system, but I did have COVID back in April and it fucked my system up bad enough that my bloodwork in February came back with some oddities, weird sensations in my joints, and headaches to this very day.
