People don't forget you exist, you're just expressing an opinion as a statement without logic or statistics. Allow me:
Gen Xers spearheaded the development of the Internet, but that was as adults. Not every Gen Xer fully adopted it, and adults don't learn or retain as easily as children. Millennials, on the other hand, grew up and developed with/alongside the Internet, so they are largely self-taught and active and knowledgeable about the internet by the time they came of age and usually carry that through their adult life.
