[Demo] RetributioN | LE | Overpass - We throw the lead on T side

Hey, I just checked your demo and here is an analysis. My rank is Supreme.

Round 2 - Why would you sit in the smoke and wait for it to clear up ? The guy in the smoke always sees it clearing up later.

Round 3 - You go offensive through fountain and you clear your leftside way too late, I've already seen a couple of times where you're not clearing enough/fast enough so I wonder if this will continue T side.

You hear a guy full rushing toilet and you hide away, he would have never expected you there and it's still an eco, you should have taken that duel.

Round 4 - MP9 in the 4th round ? I thought well perhaps it can work in underpass but it's still awful but then you go on and cover long oO. You spot a guy and have to retreat because you can't win that long range duel, again a guy at balloons and have to retreat and you leave with 17hp. No reason for that MP9 you had 8k so don't give them the chance to get in the game, crush them.

Round 5 - Bit of a waste that flash since you're not spotting and giving up fountain that quickly doesn't affect going to your positions.

Round 6 - Again that flash. It's good that you back off after you fail to kill the guy but be aware of pushes in your back.

Round 8 - They rush B, they know that you've been playing connector so it should have been an easy kill when you just rushed through that door but the guy failed.

You should have played that more defensively just spotting short for a while or you should thrown a flash through the window or door first.

Round 9 - Again that flash. They throw a nade to underpass because you're predictable and you take 40dmg.

Round 11 - The first round that you're changing it up. You get killed by a nice shot so I have a feeling you'll return to your previous routine. :)

Round 12 - Same old same old, you should have thought about pushing to ladder or clearing construction and B spawn so your team could get a full rotation going on.

You go up the stairs and the T misses the easy shot.

Round 13 - It's strange that now you don't use the flash over the wall and you decide to bounce it for a spot. They're standing on a slope so the best flash is the one over the wall and it's just as easy to throw and harder to dodge.

Round 14 - Again you throw it over the wall without a spot :). Ts plant at B and you come out of connector reckless again while you still had a flash, you get killed this time.

CT

Round 1 - Well it's nice to see that the CTs do what I've told you 2 times, they flash through the window and come spot and they manage to kill a guy :)

Round 3 - You get spotted at red http://i.imgur.com/jg1a1Zs.png and you backoff to walkway. The enemy was expecting you there and with a glock you wouldn't have won that battle at all, you were also open for short and long on that position. After you got spotted you should have rotated to water or if you were going to risk it to long/short.

After the guy gets killed you stay at walkway out in the open for long or short you should have pushed for the gun, it was quite obvious there wasn't 1 more there.

Round 4 - You have a flash but you don't throw it to peek long.

You're still silentwalking on long while there's 3 of your teammates pushing short, they get taken out and you're still silentwalking. You hear a guy in toilets but you play it safe and let him pass, you hear him running to underpass but again you hesitate to follow him. You go to connector and hesitate again. By this time they have full cleared connector and set up in good spots, you take the guy out and then you have a blackout.

You look down at the ground for a gun in an open position while there was a gun safely in the corner where you killed the guy. This isn't the first time I saw you doing that, don't look at guns on the ground keep aiming at angles enemies can be at and change guns with your dropkey.

Round 7 - What happened there with your crosshair placement ? You're just ignoring all the spots and you keep your crosshair centered on the pillar, it looks like you don't exactly know all the spots you need to preaim and decide to go for the reflex kill. I'm not sure how many times you've played that map but that was horrible placement.

Round 13 - They smoke off canals but the smoke isn't optimal, I would have gambled and pushed it to the right side and sit there for about 7 seconds and then silently pushed. You were right at the bloom and you turned your back, you missed an opportunity.

Round 14 - Your buddy kills the guy from connector and you walk up short without even checking toilets or behind it, you focus only on A. Always expect someone to be lurking somewhere.

There's some points you need work on but overall the demo was hard to judge because I don't know how big your knowledge of the map is. Some points to improve on :

Variety

In 15 rounds I think you only played in a different position in 3 rounds, mp9 long, flashpeek fountain & covering at short. In the other 12 you did the exact same and as a result you were very predictable and got a couple of nades and some lurkers waiting for you to come show.

Variety as CT is very important, you need to keep your opponent guessing, you need to change it up almost every round unless you haven't been spotted. You got some unlucky shots from Alex but you also where lucky a lot when coming up connector or once going through the door.

Variety as CT is very important, you need to keep your opponent guessing, you need to change it up almost every round unless you haven't been spotted.

As T variety isn't that important I'd even say it's more important to keep doing the same routine unless it isn't working at all.

Flashes

If I have to put a number on it I would say you threw about 9 flashes over the wall at fountain in the beginning of the round and you and your teammates only peeked once.

You peeked 1 time and you threw a bounced flash not flashing anyone :). You need to be more conservative with your flashes, if you're not going to peek and them rushing a point that doesn't matter much in the end then you should save them. By throwing these flashes they were always watching out for a peek and when you did it they got an easy kill.

Generally the tips I give other people for flashes is :

You need to use your flashes as counterflashes in a rush or when you decide to peek or when your teammates decide to peek.

Never use your flashes as a delay in the middle of the round, only right at the beginning to counter a rush or at less than 25 seconds to deny them a plant/push.

Crosshair placement

From this demo it looks like you still need to work on it a lot but that might be the map I don't know, just keep an eye on it that you're tracing enough corners and clearing all angles. You have VERY good reflexes so watch out that you don't rely too much on them, take the easy road.

Lurking

As a T you seemed to love lurking but you took it to the extreme, at the beginning of the round you pushed somewhere to try and take control but if you failed you just sat back until you saw a guy, there was no movement at all.

Lurking is fine but you can't keep waiting for someone rotating and getting the easy kill, sometimes you need to take advantage of your position and start slowly clearing. You did this a couple of rounds but it took way too long especially when the bomb was already spotted, once the bomb is spotted people will start rotating 1 guy, this is your time to shine.

When you were lurking and you clearly heard a guy coming you played VERY defensive and a couple of times you just let the guy pass and flank your teammates, when lurking you need to know when to take out a guy and when to let him run.

The only time you let him run is when you know there's a 2nd guy that you can take out first or when you can give valuable info to your teammates who can cover the back while you clear the site and catch the other CT offguard or find yourself an open BS.
