t’s very possible people identify with progressive policies and don’t know it yet.

And there is the key. People need to get beyond labels and go to the commonality that all people want and need. Everyone needs to be healthy, take care of the ones they care about. This doesn't need to be called anything. All the labeling allows is the people who want to make as much as possible from everyone's common needs and sabotage any progress in creating solutions.

The Republicans have already said they are going to run against socialism. No one going for any office now has called for this. But because some have even placed that word adjacent to their name it will affect people. If it was not molding opinions there wouldn't be articles like this one here.
