The Democratic Party Must Harness the Legitimate Rage of Americans. Otherwise, the Right Will Use It With Horrifying Results.

I've been watching some dystopian sci-fi while stuck at home, and consistently I've noticed the thing that there is one thing I find hardest to swallow in all of them. Not the advanced technology or zombies or the way the dictators and their subjects act. It's the resistance. In all of these shows, there is an active underground movement, a rebel alliance, that is actively opposing the evil empire. This is where my suspension of disbelief starts to fade. Where is this rebel alliance? Where is the underground resistance? I don't see any real-world counterpart, and it is something I can't realte to and can't see forming in real life with the people I know and have known. It feels like the whole world has Stockholm syndrome. I don't know if there is a straw that can break this camel's back and make people demand better.
