The ACA is absolutely wreaking havoc on the middle class. That law needs to be gone ASAP. This is one of the things that I agree 100% with the Republicans on.

I am fortunate enough to get my insurance through my employer. However, my 53 year old father has knee and back issues, and works for a small business. His insurance has gone up to $18,000 for 2017. EIGHTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. For fucking health insurance, because the ACA has forced all but two insurers out of the market in Minnesota. There is no competition in the market--far less than there was before 2010.

Fuck every thing about that law. Fuck the Democrats for forcing it down our throats without a SINGLE Republican vote. You can sit and pretend like Democrats are all moral and grand, but rural middle class Americans are getting gutted because of their shitty fucking law. Its no wonder that that part of the US overwhelmingly supports Trump. Obama's "crowning gem" is forcing my father to pay over 30% of his income for health insurance next year. I have the documentation to prove it, if you'd like--Though I am in a tree stand at this exact moment :)

Unfortunately you don't have to search hard to find that my anecdote is not unique. The ACA needed to be repealed years ago.
