Democrats, what do you like about Republicans? Republicans, what do you like about democrats?

I'd consider myself extremely left-wing, but I'll give it a try:

  • They're right about the media having a liberal bias. For every Fox News clip or soundbyte out there that would piss me off, I'm confident I could match it with an equally partisan MSNBC clip. And chances are, I wouldn't have even noticed how biased it was because it simply felt good to hear. Especially right before the election. I remember realizing that every single talk show and TV personality I followed stating bluntly that Trump must not win. To be clear, I agreed with their arguments almost 100% but the lack of any sort of "devil's advocate" kinda freaked me out.

  • Gun control really is a much more complicated and nuanced issue than most liberals seem to give it credit for. Same with immigration.

  • Donald Trump mocking Ted Cruz for "New York values" comment was legitimately awesome. I wish the Democrats would call their own people out on their bullshit like that.
