I don't know about actually officially reporting to police, but as far as just spreading rumours go, I think this happens like alllllll the time. considering how many times I've seen it happen. a girl throws herself at a guy, it doesn't go as planned, so she starts telling everyone he's a rapist or other hardcore accusations. I've seen it first hand, repeatedly, and I've seen the women in question bragging about how this is what they do, like regularly, whenever they get broken up with.

I've seen a lot of first hand horrible shit from men too btw, I'm not trying to paint some picture that women bad men good or something, just sharing my thoughts on this particular post.
