Denmark swings right on immigration – and Muslims feel besieged

There really is no law outside Kabul in Afghanistan so that’s an outlier. Entire swaths of Pakistan are run by extremists as well. Iraq is pretty liberal as is Kuwait. The UAE doesn’t enforce anything but non Muslims are treated as second class citizens. Yemen is in the middle of a religious proxy war. Lebanon is mostly run by Shiite extremists who would love to expand a theocratic government across the nation. Syria was quite secular. Jordan is like heaven in terms of freedoms compared to its neighbors. In Indonesia you can still be killed for renouncing Islam, not by the government of course. In Mauritania, circa 30% of the population are actual slaves. I could go on but Muslim countries have tons of problems and are mostly backward and terrifying if you believe people should be free and respect one another.
