Let me make it clear as an atheist turk who supports secular Turkey founded by Ataturk. Erdogan and Gulen were really close friends in fact Gulen is the reason Erdogan is the president of Turkey right now. You know in every country you need support influential people to win elections, so Gulen was that guy. Gulen has like 200 schools all around the world from Mexico to Ghana and his "terrorist" org infiltrated in every official establishment you can think of. From generals to basic officers in post office. Suddenly Erdogan decided to shut down Gulen's schools in Turkey and after few months of arguments Erdogan started calling Gulen as a terrorist. If you ask my honest opinion, yes Gulen is literally a terrorist, he is a radical islamist just like Saddam Husein. But he prefers brain washing instead of doing suicide bombs lol. On the other hand Erdogan is an unofficial dictator doing whatever he wants by using religion and taking advantage of stupid Turkish population. They are both huge danger to Turkey and ruining the legacy of Ataturk who founded the modern, secular Turkey after Ottoman Empire's mess.

And ofc Enes considers Gulen his father because he was studying in one of Gulen's schools in Ankara/Turkey. Im pretty sure Gulen paid and helped him to move to USA and play basketball like he helped to many other succesful atheletes for years.
