As both a bartender, and a Chef instructor a private Chef cooking school in Denver....I can say that both jobs we are all 100% vaccinated. What's would like to say is this: "even though we are all vaccinated for our safety, doesn't mean we want to go maskless. If we go maskless, it makes us, your fellow career industry folks, have a 100% more difficult time enforce state side mask mandates. So... please, still wear a mask. Most of us that serve you, and cook for you - even though we are vaccinated; are still wearing our masks for our customers. We know we can still COVID even vaccinated. Most of us have also have Covid in the last year (including February 2020)...but yet, we are getting vaccinated as soon as we can. Be patient, we are also super short staffed. 50% of us decided to actually use our degrees, and take a pay cut during Covid lockdowns. We realized, we can spend more time with our families. ....fyi...in Colorado, believe our not...your servers and bartenders are super educated...like Masters and PhD level educated....hence the shortage of experienced bartenders....we decided to finally use our degrees.
