Probably is depressed since her owner is just suddenly gone and not seen for days
This recently happened with me I was always never gone for at least a few hrs if anything from my shiba and just a few weeks go I had to suddenly be admitted to the hospital and it was a life or death situation if I was there sooner and the amazing doctors I was sent to I was diagnosed with chronic liver disease and I was pregnant.
I was gone for a week tho it feels way longer but I guess it was a week, longest my dog hasn't seen me and times he does refuse to eat without us home he did eventually eat according to my bf. The day I came home he was so happy he didn't want me off his sight at all I would see him constantly watching from somewhere and the first night or two he obviously knew I had surgery he just refused to let me sleep, the second I konked out he'd push my arm with his paw or nose or lightly bark me awake and he was at the same exact spot all those 2 nights and he NEVER sleeps where he was.
During the day I guess he never slept cuz he was out like a light all day with some monitoring on me whenever he can. He did got better pretty quick after I guess seeing im fine he did hurt me once jumping up the bed nearly hitting my stitches and ever since then he barely ever got close to the area when he jumps or go around me
